JEC safety matches are known by the following names - EMI, Guitar, Royal Red, Royal Flame and Baby Star. These brand names have been part used by the Filipino consumer for a good number of years.

The Guitar and Coin matches are exported to Malaysia. Other brands such as the Royal Red Standard, Royal Flame (Mini), Guitar Household, Royal Red Household and BB Star (Mini) are being distributed all over the Philippines. Guitar Standard is distributed in the Luzon and Mindanao areas while EMI Standard and EMI Household are distributed in the Visayas and Mindanao regions. Royal Flame and Baby Star matches come in 38 sticks per box with black and red match heads accordingly, while EMI, Guitar, Royal Red come in 48 sticks per box with black match heads for the first two and red match heads for the last.

In 2002, with the use technology, JEC introduced the over-all water-resistant brand FUEGO. From the match head to the striking surface, every part of the matchstick is water-resistant. Now, one can bring these FUEGO sets of matches to camping areas, seaside, and other wet places without the fear of having soggy and useless matches.
